Save the Date: Tuesday June 16 2015 and have fun while raising money for a great cause
Bookings are being taken for the 2015 Dan Maskell Tennis Trust Celebrity Golf Challenge. Now in its 16th year, this annual event has become one of the must do events of the UK summer.
Played in the beautiful surroundings of the Wentworth Club in Surrey, one of the most prestigious clubs in the UK, the day is challenging for golfers and great fun for non-golfers.
The day begins with breakfast followed by a round of golf on the East course. Refreshments are served on the course before a reception in the club lounge and prize giving. Prizes are awarded for the first four teams as well as individual awards for the Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin. Dinner is served in the ballroom accompanied by a prize raffle and auction.
Non-golfers can enjoy the afternoon and evening functions, including the Pimms reception, prizegiving and dinner in the ballroom in the presence of Elaine Paige, the charity’s president (pictured right with Barry Cowan, Marcus Buckland, Phil Player and Jonathan Whaley) and other celebrity guests.
Monies raised go to the Dan Maskell Tennis Trust, which provides funding to help disabled people play tennis. Wheelchair, deaf , visually impaired players and those with learning disabilities are the main recipients of grant funding. The Dan Maskell Trust is the chosen charity of TIA UK.
Entry fees are £1640 for a team of four (or three if a celebrity is to be part of the team) or £410 for an individual golfer. For non-golfers an individual ticket is £90, a table of four is available for £320 or a table of 8 for £640.
Early bird discounts are available for reservations made before April 15.
