Bromley Tennis Centre continues to be the premier tennis facility in Kent.
The centre is currently operated by Virtus Leisure Management Ltd. This company was set up in 2014 and is led by Steve Matthews, who is well acquainted with the world of tennis and hugely experienced in leisure management having spent over 30 years with David Lloyd Leisure.
The last 3 years has seen the centre improve with a new seasonal 4 court bubble, a new website, new suppliers, new payment systems, new accounts, new telephone system, improved WiFi services and much more to welcome visitors and members.
‘Tennis is a sport for life’ and at Bromley Tennis Centre there truly is as a whole world of tennis activities for players of all ages and abilities is available.
Based at Newstead Wood School in Orpington, Bromley Tennis Centre includes 4 outdoor floodlit courts, with a seasonal bubble, and six indoor courts as well as a gym and fitness centre.
Managed by Sandi Procter and Sarah Langford, it offers trial lessons to tennis newcomers, pay and play opportunities for the local community, and is a 1st4sport recognised centre for LTA level 1, 2 and 3 coaching courses. As a county Disability Hub Site they also offer Wheelchair, Learning Disability and Vision Impaired tennis sessions. Bromley Tennis Centre is also home to a highly regarded performance programme producing some top flight juniors, with two playing at Junior Wimbledon in 2016.
The Bromley Tennis Centre is unique in that it is the only facility in the country that qualifies with the LTA as:

Anyone can simply book courts and play, or can join as a member to book courts in advance to play with friends.
