The TIA UK’s annual Business of Tennis Forum,“Progressive Clubs – Driving Growth?”takes place on October 9th at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, Wimbledon starting at 10.00 a.m.

The Forum aims to consider the role and challenges faced by clubs in the delivery of tennis and how increased participation is achieved and sustained through a clear focus on the customer resulting in increased revenue and membership.

The programme has just been announced and includes:

Scott Lloyd, CEO of the LTA;

Kirsty Mac, Head of Experience at Raise the Bar, helping delegates change from a tennis to a business mindset;

Paul Burditt, LTA Head of Insight and Strategy on how tennis is competing in the leisure market;

Justin Smith, AELTC Head of Estates Development discussing the challenges and progress of the Club’s Development Plan;

Mike Lynch, Chief Executive GBSport on the vexed issues of self-employment and HMRC compliance;

Helena Raven, LTA Head of Digital and Marketing on the challenges and opportunities that technology is bringing to sports businesses;

Michael Beveridge, Director of Control Costs on saving money and improving the club’s bottom line;

Anthony Franklin, fibodo Founder, on business growth through removing the barriers to participation

This is a great opportunity to hear from leaders in the sport about how clubs attract new players through a real focus on the customer experience and delivering operational efficiencies and also provides the opportunity to network with some of the most established independent tennis clubs in the UK.

Morning coffee is from 09.00 with the Forum commencing at 10.00.

Lunch and tour of the grounds is included in the price of the ticket, together with a drinks reception at 18.00 sponsored by Tennis Threads magazine.

There is also a display of products and services for tennis clubs from TIA UK members.

Don’t miss out on the only business-focussed tennis event in the UK calendar. The Forum is open to all those involved in delivering and growing tennis – clubs, venues, suppliers, coaches, developers and tennis supporters.
